Our limitations

If your condition is severe and requires urgent or emergency care, please call NHS 111 or 999 immediately

We are unable to prescribe Schedule 2 or 3 controlled medications, including but not limited to: morphine, tramadol, pregabalin, temazepam, and similar drugs.

We issue prescriptions for Prescription-only Medications (POM) that cannot be purchased over the counter, Pharmacy only (P) or General Sales List (GSL); we do not supply medications.

Dispensing and sale of prescribed medicines must be carried out by a GPhC‑registered pharmacy.

Patients are under no obligation to take prescribed medicines and the decision always rests with the patient as part of our shared decision-making process.
